| The trip will include a guided visit to Po Lin Monastery, the Giant Buddha Exhibition Hall; You will also enjoy 7 kilometers of air car ride which offers a panoramic view of the Island and South China Sea. Something you’re not likely to forget for the rest of your life. You will start out from Hong Kong’s harbor to Lantau Island by a ferry service. You will then reach the beautiful Cheumg Sha Beach; this is longest beach in all of Hong Kong. You will love sighting the houses on stilts, built in traditional fashion by the Tai O fishing village. The world famous Buddha Statue is in Ngong Ping Plateau. The statue in bronze n about 111 feet high. This also the world’s largest statue in bronze kept outdoors. You will get plenty of time to see the Po Lin Monastery and Giant Buddha Exhibition Hall. Enjoy scrolling down the Wisdom Path where you will find prayers inscribed on a series of wooden columns. They are arranged eight some to signify infinity. Gorge on a traditional Buddhist vegetarian meal at the monastery. You may also go over to the Ngong Ping Village for sightseeing. Then ride down the mountain on the cable car. Get inspired by the panoramic South China Sea, the Giant Buddha Statue the lush mountains and valleys. You can return to Hong Kong by a coach. |
